Bindi and Terri Irwin Say Australia Zoo Animals Run To See Baby Grace. She's Like Her Grandpa Steve.

'I think she's got that determination that Steve had and that connection with wildlife,' the proud grandmother shared.

They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and if there's one family that's proven this to be true, it's the Irwins. According to Entertainment Tonight, 10-month-old Grace Warrior Irwin Powell has taken after her late grandfather, Steve Irwin, and is already showing an affinity for animals. Speaking to the publication about her granddaughter's incredible bond with animals at the Australia Zoo, Terri Irwin said: "I think she's got that determination that Steve had and that connection with wildlife. Because it is weird to see animals just gravitate to her. So she'll go out in the morning in the stroller, and all the kangaroos just gather around her like they're having a meeting."

Meanwhile, the adorable toddler's proud mom, Bindi Irwin, revealed that Grace has won over the hearts of other animals at the Australia Zoo as well. "Oh my word, the koalas ... literally climb out of their trees to come see her," the 23-year-old said of her baby girl. She added that while the koalas' excitement to meet Grace is really endearing, their claws are a little too sharp for such close contact just yet. However, that isn't stopping the young one from reaching out to try and touch them, her doting mom revealed, making her a true "risk taker" like the late "Crocodile Hunter."

"Yes," Terri agreed. "So that's Steve all over." While Grace has made plenty of friends at the wildlife sanctuary, according to her mom, there is one who always has her back. "Her best friend is an Aldabra tortoise," Bindi shared. "His name is Igloo and, no joke, he comes up to here on me, like up to my waist. He's massive and the cutest. When he sees Grace, he runs across his paddock, which is huge. If you're a tortoise, you can't really run very fast, but he does his best, runs across the paddock to see her and just sits. She tries to pat him, and she just ends up kind of like hitting him on the head."

"They love each other! It's the funniest thing you've ever seen. I love that my daughter's best friend is a tortoise," she added. Grace Warrior is Bindi Irwin's first child with husband, Chandler Powell. Born on March 25, 2021, the little one is already quite popular among longtime fans of the Irwin family as her parents often share sweet family photos, detailing their life with Grace—whom they refer to as "Baby Wildlife Warrior" as a tribute to Bindi's late father.

Bindi revealed the meaning behind her daughter's full name—Grace Warrior Irwin Powell—in an Instagram post announcing her birth, explaining that she was named after her grandmother. "Our graceful warrior is the most beautiful light. Grace is named after my great-grandmother, and relatives in Chandler’s family dating back to the 1700s. Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior. Her last name is Powell and she already has such a kind soul just like her dad. There are no words to describe the infinite amount of love in our hearts for our sweet baby girl. She chose the perfect day to be born and we feel tremendously blessed," she wrote.

Earlier this year, Bindi took to social media to show off her new tattoo that pays tribute to both her late dad and her baby daughter. Posting a photo of the new art on her forearm that reads, "Graceful warrior," she wrote: "The words I spoke to our daughter as I held her for the first time in my arms were, 'My graceful warrior.' That’s how her name was born. This is my dad's handwriting to keep him with me, always. Our dear alligator, Daisy, is next to these words to represent our conservation work as Wildlife Warriors. And my beautiful wedding ring in bloom. Validation every day of the three most important things in my life: family, purpose and unconditional love."
