The 'Mission: Impossible' star was there to support his good friend British F1 champion Lewis Hamilton.
Tom Cruise recently celebrated his 60th birthday by making an appearance at the British F1 Grand Prix on Sunday. The Top Gun star looked youthful as ever as in a light blue polo shirt, his signature aviator sunglasses, and dark trousers as he watched the race at Silverstone in Towcester. He even greeted fans and took selfies with them. Other celebrities in the midst included renowned chef Gordon Ramsay and Spice Girl Geri Halliwell. At the event, Cruise expressed his support for the British F1 champion Lewis Hamilton while chatting with Martin Brundle for Sky Sports. "Lewis always," he said. "He's a great friend of mine. I hope he has a great day."
The actor was also spotted at Adele's concert at British Summer Time Hyde Park Festival in London, accompanied by a mystery woman, according to The Mirror. It is reported that the actor was dating his Mission Impossible co-star, Hayley Atwell who broke up with him. Hayley split up with Cruise for the second time just a few months after getting back together following their first split in 2021. The costars began dating in 2020 after meeting on the set of Mission: Impossible 7, In December of year, they were first reported to be a couple. The 40-year-old has now moved on to dating music producer self-styled pagan, Ned Wolfgang Kelly, the outlet reported. A source toldThe Sun, “Tom and Hayley’s relationship was genuine. Cruise is currently enjoying the success of Top Gun: Maverick, passed the $1 billion mark at the global box office earlier this week, according to Variety. This is the first of Cruise's films to reach the milestone crossing 2018's Mission: Impossible – Fallout, which made $791.1 million. It's been 36 years since we saw the actor in the 1986 film Top Gun but fans got to see him return for Top Gun: Maverick which premiered on May 27 after being postponed due to COVID-19, reports PEOPLE. The sequel also starred Val Kilmer, Jon Hamm, Miles Teller, Glen Powell and Jennifer Connelly along with Monica Barbaro, Jay Ellis, Lewis Pullman, Greg Tarzan Davis and Danny Ramire. Cruise insisted the film's theatrical release be postponed throughout the pandemic rather than go directly to streaming platforms. He tweeted at the time, "36 years after the first film, #TopGun: Maverick is finally here. We made it for the big screen. And we made it for you, the fans. I hope you enjoy the ride this weekend."
